Economic Recovery Task Force

On May 22nd, the Economic Recovery Task Force presented The Business Council’s RoadMap to Recovery to Province of Manitoba’s Ministers Stefanson, Eichler and Fielding.  The presentation highlighted the top 5 issues and recommendations brought forward by the Business Council membership, as well as, highlighting Manitoba economic advantages and the need for specific federal advocacy.  We also formally presented the final RoadMap report which has 20 plus recommendations for immediate, mid and long-term strategies moving forward to renew and ameliorate the business climate in Manitoba.

This is the collective work of all members.  The leadership of the Economic Recovery Task Force along with each sector and members input created a clear and concise set of recommendations for recovery.  This work will continue to be used as the framework by our members who form part of the Premier’s Economic Opportunities Advisory Board, Chaired by our Chair, Curt Vossen.
