Adam Hanson

Vice President, Finance, Johnston Group
Adam’s holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Asper School of Business (2003), a CPA Designation (2007) and is a CFA Charterholder (2016). Adam has been on the executive team at Johnston Group since 2022 and has previously worked at Canada Life and PwC.

Adam is known for his community voluntarism, particularly with United Way as well as board positions with the Assiniboine Park Conservancy, Manitoba Children’s Museum and the Winnipeg Folk Festival. He has also recently joined the board of KidTHINK. Adam is currently a member of the Associates of the Asper School of Business, as well as a candidate in the ICD program (expecting to graduate in 2026). Adam lives in Winnipeg with his wife and four children.

Johnston Group is a growing Winnipeg-based health insurance company that employs 480 people. The company provides health insurance to 38,000 different businesses across the country and over 700,000 individual Canadians.
